The Host

Emily, steward of Frayed Knot Farm, is our on farm coordinator and host farmer. Many of you may recognize her from her successful CSA pick up in Ohio City or day to day operations at Pop Ups. Having apprenticed in New York, we are grateful that Emily has set her roots here in the Cleveland area. She grows regeneratively and brings much knowledge and direction to The Collab. She also stewards breathtaking cuts. From fabulous foxglove to brilliant sunflowers and other heirloom varieties, this farmer is a key player for The Collab.

The Addict

Elizabeth of Red House Florals knows her flowers! Having worked in her Mayfield Heights garden for over eight years, Elizabeth has grown her passion into a beautiful (sub)urban flower farm. Elizabeth has a fantastic rose garden and is always looking to add "just a few more" plants to the collection. She is constantly testing new annual cut flowers as well as perfecting the favorites. In addition to her beautiful blooms, Elizabeth brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to The Collab. Keep an eye out for her roses, tulips, sunflowers, zinnias and dahlias.

The Artist

It takes creativity to work with flowers. Sandy of Feathered Cottage has perfected the art. She grows over 90 varieties of flowers and shrubs for cut flower production in her garden in Mayfield Heights. Sandy is always excited to take on a new project and willingly shares from her archives of experience. Feathered Cottage supplies The Collab with stunning annual cut flowers as well as that creative "je ne sais quoi" we all need from time to time.

The Mover

Hi, hey, hello from Cortney of Clayfield Farms in Thompson, OH. Cortney is the master of multitasking and has managed to perfect the art of bulk production. On top of a full time job and motherhood, Cortney and her family run Clayfield Farm offsite from their home. Cortney is in a constant state of motion and we are so grateful for it! Clayfield Farm brings a plethora of sunflowers, delicate shades of stock, dahlias and perfect peonies to The Collab. Check out Clayfield Farm's Instagram here for updates on their production and seasonal farm visits.

The Enthusiast

What started out as weekly flowers to grandma has grown into a dahlia paradise. Mandy of Bentley's Blooms started out with just a few dahlias and has expanded to over 400 this season. Growing on her westside home, Mandy is taking her part time passion to the max. We can't wait to see the dazzling dahlias our newest member has in store for us this season. Mandy is a full time mom, insurance agent and design enthusiast. Is there anything this amazing farmer doesn't do?!

The Shady One

The most kind-hearted of us all, Patty's nickname of The Shady One comes from her area of expertise: lack of sun. Patty has been growing and arranging flowers for over a decade and has ventured out to grow elegant cuts on her wooded oasis in Auburn, OH. Patty is meticulous and patient, the perfect combo to adhere to every dappled detail at Shaded Valley Flowers. Some of Patty's area of expertise include astilbe, solomon seal, foxglove and ferns.

The Veteran

Having over 20 years of growing experience, Rosie from Field of Blooms has seen it all. Rosie's farm is host to workshops and fabulous projects. You name it and Rosie has done it. She brings a wealth of knowledge to The Collab as well as drive and motivation. Rosie is our "go to" for ranunculus. She has mastered the art of the year long eucalyptus harvest and boasts a stunning portfolio of greens and dahlias.

The Organizer

Catie is owner and operator of Dottie's Flower Farm. She specializes in annual cut flowers with an ever-growing CSA delivery. Catie's incessant need for efficiency has made her a great candidate for organizing and hosting The Collab. As a mother and farmer, she appreciates the value of your time. Dottie's has a large selection of daffodils, tulips, summer annuals and specialty sunflowers coming up this year.

The Heart

This family is a core player in The Collab. Tony and his daughters operate Sweetbay Flower Farm as a true family affair in memory and honor of their late mother and garden guru, Karen. They plant flowers, crunch numbers and host events in seamless coordination. Sweetbay offers an abundance of perennial cut flowers, which are the true heart of any garden. They have a vast selection of hellebores, peonies, clematis and dahlias to offer to the group.
